About Microgaming European Blackjack Gold Series
Not the prettiest of table games, but with some challenging rules for those looking to step from American to play European blackjack.
We have to admit that we didn’t love this European Blackjack table.
Not because the rules were particularly difficult, but because it lacks the refinement of NetEnt’s blackjack game, or the versatility of mobile devices of Play’n GO’s multi-handed game.
The graphics feels very 1997, and there’s no sound to accompany your game play. Even some basic turning of the cards would have been welcomed to give it a more realistic feel.
Test the European Blackjack Gold mobile game before you play
And on some Android devices, you can’t free play this mobile European blackjack game at all. Which isn’t in itself a bad thing, but you are going to want to test this Microgaming casino game before you put in some real cash.
Reason being, on iPhone and Android mobile casinos this card game can feel very small and squashed, leaving little enjoyment on the game play.
We’d definitely recommend to play this Blackjack Gold Series on tablets only.
And if you can, you might not care about the slightly outdated graphics as you play a genuinely true to itself Blackjack with European rules. Namely:
- Dealer stands on all 17 (hard or soft)
- No peeking at the card
- You can only double down on 9, 10 and 11
- You can only split once on your first turn
- Cannot split unlike 10 value cards
- Blackjack pays 3:2
- Insurance bet available
It’s certainly more challenging than the American version, but with some decent returns and a wide betting range with a regular bet amount from 0.50 up to 200 per hand.
|Min / Max Bet:||0.50 / 200|
|Chips Available:||0.50, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200|
|No. Of Decks:||2|
|No. Of Hands:||1|
Though not the prettiest of table, this European Blackjack Gold Series game on mboile is not without merit.
For one, it has one of the lowest betting limits for those who are first starting out with European rules blackjack, and placing bets and re-bets is fairly intuitive.
However, we can’t stress enough that if you are going to play this Microgaming blackjack game on your iPhone or Android phone, test in free-play first.
You might not find it as easy to use as some other mobile blackjack games.
