Who made our top April 2017 slots list?

March’s top casino games list was full of small video software providers who manages to compete big with the big boys.

Quickspin’s Hot Sync slot took the crown, but one Yggdrasil slot particularly impressed, and even Elk Gaming managed to get an entry – yet Microgaming, Playtech and other big casino softwares could barely make it on the list.

April, however, sees a reversal, as the big boys are back, and our number one slot will surprise… probably no one.

8. Cool Bucks by Microgaming isn’t pretty, but it’s fun

After Microgaming’s poor showing last month, we doubted if they would manage to even make our best slots for April 2017 list.

Especially when we saw that of their two new machines, one was just a classic slot with a few multipliers, and the other was a slot that looks like it was made in the clipart era of the 1990s.

So imagine our surprise when we found out that both of these Microgaming slot games were actually good fun to play.

7. Matsuri is super pretty, but a little dangerous

Play’n GO’s new slot game, on the other hand, is the prettiest thing you’ll probably see all month.

5. Leprechaun Hills by Quickspin makes the list!

It’s not quite the top of the list, as with last month, but there’s no doubt that this game studio is doing something right that they get their slot once again on our top casino games lists.

The graphics let it down slightly, relying a little too much on generic Irish and celtic symbols to really pop out of the screen. But it’s nice enough, with big bold colours everywhere you turn.

What brings it to the top of the pile is the two bonus games, that come often; the free spins with mystery symbols, and the lucky re-spin bonus with stacks of extra winning symbols.

2. Superman slot wins over other DC Playtech games

This last month saw Playtech game studios pump out a whole new set of DC jackpot slots to replace the fact that they’ve lost the Marvel games.

Many of them where good, some were… not so good (Looking at you Man of Steel).

But the one that grabbed our hearts was the original Superman Movie slot based on the 1978 film with Christopher Reeves.
