About Deuces Wild Play’n Go
Play’n Go Deuces Wild poker machine is an odd duck. On mobile you have two vastly different types of games that depending on which one you find, can either make you walk away in disgust, or enjoy a light 4 handed game of mobile video poker.
We will review the second, which can currently be found at Vera&John mobile casino. Reason being the first is the old version and we hope that the casinos who have that game will realise and update it to the 4 handed deuces wild machine.
And that’s your choice here. One hand or four hands and nothing in between. Still, not a huge amount of multi-handed mobile video poker games so we should be grateful for any choice at all.
However even with that, when you look at the numbers it doesn’t come close to beating Microgaming’s version of this game. The return to player rate is barely 95% and the top amount you can win if you play at the maximum bet is only 16,000 in cash. Compare that with Microgaming’s Deuces Wild Poker which sits at 97% and 20,000, you can see why the 3 extra hands isn’t quite enough to rock our world.
Still, give Play’n Go their dues, the game is well presented and easy to play on both Android phones, tablets and iOS casinos. We’ve yet to see a game by this provider crash and they make good use of the space available, allowing for a gamble feature and an option to switch this on and off. But when you’re competing against the giant that is Microgaming, it’s hard to come out on top.
Video Poker overview
|Game Software||Play'n Go|
|Min / Max Bet:||0.25 (one 5 coins: 1.25) / 1.25 - 20 (casino dependent)|
|Number of Hands:||4|
Good enough in looks and ease of play, not quite good enough in numbers. Still, if you want to play 4 handed Deuces Wild video poker on mobile this is not a bad choice and give you the same odds as playing on a good slot machine.
